– Nu Metal Cinema

For a time, I wrote about what I’ve termed ‘nu-metal cinema’, a collective of horror films released between the late-90s and early-00’s loosely related in terms of aesthetic, conception, and delivery. It’s a fun era of schlocky horror films that has a lot to say about the cultural and political state of the world. I intend to revisit it someday – possibly here – in further detail and form.
